The Waikato Chamber of Commerce holds a wide variety of regular and one-off monthly & annual events. Our regular monthly events are explained further below. Our flagship event is the annual Chamber of Commerce Waikato Business Awards supported by Foster Construction Group.

REGULAR EVENTS
Business After Four (BA4) events are hosted by Waikato companies and organisations. Generally hosted at the member's venue, these are fantastic networking events coordinated by the Chamber. They provide valuable opportunities to educate the market on your business and meet with other professionals. This event is for individuals who own or are employed by a business in the Waikato.
Inspire is a monthly catch up, designed to stimulate potential and aspiration in your business, family, health, community and life. Inspire has been gathering since 2007, led by MP Ryan Hamilton until 2023. The events are held on the first Wednesday of every month, featuring inspiring stories from local guest speakers. Sponsored by Vision Complete Earthworks Ltd. Speaker gifts are provided by Alexmarie Flowers, Plants and Gifts.
The Waikato Chamber of Commerce together with Westpac are proud to deliver the Westpac Business Smarts speaker series. These events will provide regular opportunities for Waikato businesses to gain access to expert knowledge from a variety of speakers across different industries and specialisations, and insight on a wide range of thought leadership topics.
Lunch & Learn launched in 2021, and is an event for our small business members to learn from each other – members helping members. Come along with your lunch and a pen; the topic will change every event, but these sessions will always leave you with something practical to implement in your business straight away.
We welcome our newest Chamber members to this social event that focuses on making new connections in a facilitated environment that makes networking fun and easy. Facilitated activities ensure people have genuine reasons to talk and connect. We invite new and current members, as well as those seeking to find out more about what the Chamber does. This event is sponsored by Johnston Associates and hosted by Good George.
The Waikato Chamber Golf Day Tournament is held in March every year at Ngaruawahia Golf Club. Over 120 competitive golfers and non-golfers alike from around the Waikato compete fiercely for the title of Waikato Chamber Golf Day Champion, all while making the most of the networking opportunities which the event creates. This event is sponsored by Naylor Love.
