SIR PATRICK HOGAN

BUSINESS HALL OF FAME

Inducted 2017 

In 1977 Patrick Hogan established the Cambridge Stud, with the outstanding sire Sir Tristram. 
He was heavily involved in the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders Association, and Cambridge Jockey Club. In 1992 Hogan was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire, for services to Thoroughbred racing, and he was appointed a Knight Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to thoroughbred breeding and training, in the 2000 New Year Honours.
Hogan was inducted into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame in 2005, and the New Zealand Racing Hall of Fame in 2006.
