Waipā District Mayoral Disaster Relief Fund
Following the recent flooding and storm damage across the district, a Waipā District Mayoral Disaster Relief Fund has been established to support affected individuals, families, businesses, and community groups. Donations will go directly toward financial assistance for those facing hardship as our region begins recovery. The Fund has IRD donee status, meaning donations are officially recognised and may be eligible for a tax credit. We encourage our business community to show their support by donating, sharing the initiative across your networks, and helping strengthen Waipā’s recovery efforts. Find out more or contribute here.
Extreme weather events can happen throughout New Zealand at any time. For advice on what to do during and after an emergency, and how to look after yourself and your employees, find out more here.
