Waikato Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting
The Board warmly invites all members to join us for the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
The AGM is an opportunity to connect with fellow members, the Board, and Chamber staff, reflect on the achievements of the past 12 months, and hear about the Chamber’s priorities for the year ahead.
While the meeting will cover the required formalities, it is also a valuable chance to network and engage with others in our business community. Attendance is free, and we encourage all members to take part.
If an election is required for new board members, the results of the board election will be shared at the AGM.

The AGM documents will be emailed to registered attendees prior to the meeting.

Interested in joining the Waikato Chamber Board?
Our Board plays an important role in shaping the future direction of the Waikato Chamber and representing the interests of our members and the wider business community.
There will be a minimum of three Board positions available at the 2026 AGM.
The Board consists of between six and nine members, with at least six members elected by the membership. We are looking for people who can bring a broad range of skills, experience and perspectives to the Board.
Any full Member, or a representative of a Corporate Member, can be nominated, with each nomination requiring the support of at least two Members.
All nominations are reviewed by a selection committee to ensure the Board reflects a balanced mix of skills and experience. Approved candidates will then be presented for election at the AGM, with all nominees advised of the outcome before voting details are shared.
Nominations open Thursday 24 September 2026 and close at 5.00 pm on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
