Pink Shirt Day, Pink Ribbon Day, Movember. There are a lot of changes and great ideas in the pipeline for us so keep an eye out!

I joined the Waikato Chamber of Commerce to connect and network with other businesses that might be interested in my products. Having access to other businesses to use their products - marketing, graphic design, environmental design/interior design specifically as I really want to re-do my shop front but I am not sure where and how to start etc.

I don't have anyone around me who is in business so will be nice to have a community of people who understand in part the challenges and isolation involved. Above and beyond the regular connections, I would really like to make friends with the younger crowd, it would be nice to go for a beer or just catch up and be friends with other people in my same boat and stage in life.

We are the fastest growing region I believe and there is future potential for the region in terms of business. I hope that I can learn to become a better business owner so that the business excites me still and I hold onto it until we can see that future growth.
