Waikato Waahine Collective Symposium

What a phenomenal day! Over 200 Waikato waahine came together for our inaugural half-day symposium at Claudelands Events Centre — and what a success it was. The energy in the room was electric, with four incredible waahine speakers who captivated and inspired us with their powerful stories.

Our supplier hub was buzzing with activity, and every attendee left with a goodie bag packed with amazing items.

This year’s theme celebrated the strength and resilience of women who have overcome adversity — both personal and professional — to forge their own paths. Our keynote speakers shared journeys of navigating challenges, defying expectations, and embracing their roles as architects of their own futures. The day was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when waahine come together to uplift, connect, and lead.
